Children across Southern California are invited to participate by bringing a gently used stuffed animal to be donated to non-profit organization S.A.F.E (Stuffed Animals For Emergencies). The first 100 children to donate can swap their stuffed animal for a brand new Travelodge Sleepy Bear Teddy Bear and will receive FREE admission to the Los Angeles Zoo that day. The Sleepy Bear Swap allows children the opportunity to give to those in need, and create lasting memories with a day at the zoo. Additionally, Travelodge will match every donation with a gift of 3 brand new Sleepy Bear Teddy Bears to the Starlight Children’s Foundation, the signature charity of Travelodge.
While FREE admission is limited to the first 100 children who bring a donation, a number of activities will be available to all Los Angeles Zoo patrons such as face painting, drawing contests, educational presentations and more.
