I was given the opportunity to vote for a woman who embodies everything "Yahoo! Women Who Shine". The first person that popped in my mind was Tracey Friley.

I first heard about Tracey around the beginning of the year. Someone told me about the Passport Party Project that she created. Tracey had a vision of girls all over the U.S. getting their passport and discovering everything that the world had to offer. Many girls, unfortunately, could not afford a passport so Tracey decided to gift 100 girls their first passport - out of her own pocket!

Yes, Tracey, had a vision of getting 100 girls out there to experience life on country at a time. She decided this without knowing how much of a difference she would make and how others would soon take note and ride the Tracey wave.

To date, Tracey has signed on Expedia as its major sponsor and other sponsors too, including eBags who gifted luggage to a few of the young girls.

I invite you to take a second to vote for Tracey Friley in Yahoo! Women Who Shine contest so that she may get additional funding for her project and allow her to evolve it more.

About Yahoo! Shine “Women Who Shine”
Women Who Shine is Yahoo! Shine’s inaugural women’s recognition program. Nominate your peers, mentors, family and any other women in your community who inspire you and others with their extraordinary achievements. This program stands apart because the honorees are not the high-profile women or celebs you see in most other “Woman of the Year” or “Most Powerful Women” programs. It’s women nominating the local heroes in their communities and it is Shine’s readers, not an editorial staff, who decide who wins. For more info check out: womenwhoshine.yahoo.com.
