Selena Gomez sits down with Harper's Bazaar at Hooter's and talks about Justin, her grown-up stardom and why it's hard to date non-celebs for April's issue. That part of the interview location is questionable, but for her it was more of a dad-daugther hangout place - so skipping over that part, let me tell you why I liked this interview.
In her interview, it says,
"But [Selena's] fan base, at least for now, is still largely made up of children and teenagers, and she takes her responsibility to them seriously."I missed the whole Selena Gomez craze when she was on The Wizards of Waverly Place, but I know enough about her thanks to my nieces. That's why the quote mentioned before is so important. My nieces look up to her and while she is featured in this adult-oriented magazine, she also shows up on all the kiddie magazines. Selena seems to be handling this in-between stage really well. She understand what it means to be a celebrity that the younger audience looks up to and I'm happy to see that she's not doing the whole Justin-flashing-his-butt-online thing.
