Sometimes it gets a little crazy trying to get the entire family to the table at the same time. I have a four year old and an 8 month old, but I also have a husband who is going to school and the oldest boy has karate class just about every day of the week. It is hectic trying to get a healthy meal on the table and I'm sure most of you deal with this same issue week after week. Enter... Bertolli's Meal Soups!

Bertolli has created soups that are hearty and fresh-tasting with vegetables, meats, pasta and herbs individually flash frozen at the peak of freshness. They're available in the freezer aisle making them ready to enjoy at home in minutes. All you have to do is mix the frozen soup with one cup of water and heat it up (over the stove top is suggested).
With robust flavors and rich textures, new Bertolli Frozen Meal Soups are available in four varieties: Chicken Minestrone, Roasted Chicken & Rotini Pasta, Tomato Florentine & Tortellini with Chicken, and Tuscan-Style Beef with Vegetables.
I was given the opportunity to try out one of these new Bertolli Meal Soups... unfortunately, we are vegetarian and Bertolli does not offer a vegetarian option. So what we did instead is offer the soups to our mothers as part of their Valentine's Day gift! It was a super idea.
We coupled the soup with some freshly-baked Italian bread (per the suggestion on the Bertolli Meal Soup package), Martinelli's Sparkling Cider and Ferrero Rocher chocolates. We heated up the soup and included special touches like napkin-wrapped spoons with cute little felt flower stickers. An I Love You balloon let them know that we would be thinking of them on Valentine's Day. Add some candles, lively Italian music and some fresh flowers and it's "Italy, served!" It was a truly affordable meal and could very easily be prepared in under one hour.
